Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions (“Terms”), the following expressions have the meanings set out below:
- “Company”, “We”, “Our”: NM Trading, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises of Belgium under number 0773.822.250, with registered office at Brussels (Belgium).
- “Client”, “You”, “Your”: the individual making a booking via www.taxico.be.
- “Passengers”: any person transported as part of the booking.
- “Booking”: the contract concluded between the Client and the Company for transport via www.taxico.be.
- “Service”: the transport reserved by the Client.
- “Carrier”: the professional transport provider who carries out the Service.
- “Voucher / Booking Confirmation”: the electronic confirmation sent to the Client after payment.
- “Contract”: the set of rights and obligations between the Client and the Company arising from a Booking.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using www.taxico.be and making a Booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in their entirety prior to making a Booking.
If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the website or make a Booking.
3. Booking Conditions
- All Bookings must be made via the online booking form available on the website.
- The Client must provide accurate and complete information.
- The person making the Booking must be at least 18 years old.
- A Booking is only considered confirmed upon receipt of the Booking Confirmation.
4. Payment
- Payments can be made using the methods indicated on the website at the time of booking (e.g., credit card).
- Full payment is required to validate the Booking.
- Prices are quoted in euros (€) and may not include additional fees (e.g., child seat charges, waiting time supplements).
5. Modifications & Corrections
- Any modification to a Booking must be requested in writing (email) to info@taxico.be prior to the Service.
- Fees may apply for requested modifications.
6. Waiting Time
The first hour of waiting time is free of charge, provided that the waiting period does not exceed one (1) hour from the scheduled pickup time.
If the waiting time exceeds one (1) hour, an additional fixed fee of €30 shall apply, together with a charge of €0.50 for each additional minute of waiting.
7. Cancellation by the Client
- All cancellations must be sent to info@taxico.be.
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before the pickup time: full refund.
- Cancellation within 24 hours before pickup: no refund.
8. Modifications & Cancellations by the Carrier or the Company
- In exceptional cases, the Company or the Carrier may modify or cancel a Booking.
- The Client will be informed as soon as possible and refunded if the Service cannot be provided.
9. Liability
- The Company is only liable for direct damages caused by its negligence, up to the amount paid for the Service.
- The Company shall not be held responsible for indirect losses, such as loss of time or lost profits.
- For any claim, the Client may send an email to info@taxico.be within 28 days after the Service.
10. Insurance
We recommend that the Client obtains appropriate travel insurance covering risks related to transport.
11. Client Obligations
- Be ready at the agreed time and place for pickup.
- Follow safety rules and driver instructions.
- Pay any additional fees directly to the driver, if applicable.
12. Baggage
Passengers are responsible for their baggage. Any loss or damage is excluded from the Company’s liability, except as required by mandatory law.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on www.taxico.be (texts, graphics, logos, etc.) is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without the Company’s authorization.
14. Personal Data
Personal data collected during the Booking process is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on www.taxico.be and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by Belgian law.
- Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts.
16. Acceptance & Entry into Force
- These Terms take effect from their publication on the website and replace any previous versions.
- The current version is always accessible on www.taxico.be.
17. Transport Services
Our services include various types of transport such as private transfers, shared shuttles, transfers from airports, train stations, ports, and destinations chosen by the Client.
The route cannot be guaranteed to follow a strictly predefined itinerary: the itinerary is indicative and may be modified for operational reasons (traffic, road conditions, local restrictions).
The Client is responsible for ensuring their presence at the pickup location and time indicated on the Booking Confirmation.
If the Client is not present at the agreed time, the Company may consider the Booking as used with no entitlement to a refund.
18. Baggage
- Each passenger is allowed to carry a certain number of baggage items as indicated at the time of booking. Undeclared excess baggage may incur additional charges for the Client or require a larger vehicle.
- It is strictly prohibited to transport dangerous, illegal, or non-compliant items according to applicable laws in vehicles used for transport.
- Animals are not allowed, except for guide dogs for persons with reduced mobility, unless prior agreement has been obtained.
- Baggage is the sole responsibility of the Client; the Company cannot be held liable for loss, damage, or items left in the vehicle except as required by mandatory law.
19. Access Rights and User Behavior
By accepting these Terms, the Client acknowledges that the Company or its transport partners may refuse access to the vehicle to any person behaving in a dangerous or aggressive manner, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Smoking is prohibited in vehicles; failure to comply may result in cleaning fees.
20. Complaints
- Any complaint regarding the provided service (punctuality, behavior, vehicle quality, etc.) must be submitted in writing to info@taxico.be within 28 days of the Service date.
- A complaint can only be processed if the Client provides all necessary information (Booking number, details of the incident, supporting evidence).
- If a complaint concerns an incident occurring during transport, the Client must report it immediately to the driver or customer service to allow for prompt resolution.
21. Site and Communication Languages
The website www.taxico.be is available in French and may be accessible in other languages depending on technical options.
In case of interpretation discrepancies between language versions of the website or communications, the French version shall prevail for French-speaking users.
22. Intellectual Property
- All website content (texts, images, logos, databases, graphic elements) is protected by intellectual property laws and may not be used without the express authorization of the Company.
- It is prohibited to reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit the website’s content for commercial purposes without written consent.
23. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, extreme weather conditions, legal or regulatory restrictions.
24. Amendments to the Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The Terms applicable to a Booking are those in effect at the time of Booking confirmation.
25. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute concerning the interpretation, performance, or validity of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts, unless mandatory provisions state otherwise.
26. Privacy Policy and Personal Data
The collection and processing of personal data via www.taxico.be are governed by the Privacy Policy available on the website, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By accepting these Terms and making a Booking, the Client consents to the processing of their personal data for the purposes indicated on the website.
